Due to its success\, local officials encouraged its expansion\, leading to a name change to Florida Home Partnership\, Inc.\, on July 1\, 2005. Today\, this 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization operates as both a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and a Community Development Corporation (CDC)\, dedicated to developing affordable housing and establishing self-sustaining communities.
